Statement from the Psychology Coalition at the United Nations

Social Psychology Network:
Helping Improve the Well-Being of People Around the World

Psychology Coalition at the United Nations The Psychology Coalition of Accredited NGOs at the United Nations (PCUN) strongly endorses Social Psychology Network as a preeminent resource for psychologists, policy-makers, and advocates engaged in the application of sound psychological science to improve the well-being of people around the world and the promotion of sustainable activities.

Social Psychology Network plays a unique role in facilitating connections between academics and practitioners. Many SPN members actively investigate, advocate, and develop policies that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Health and Well-Being, Reduced Inequality, Peace and Justice Institutions, Climate Action, and Gender Equity.

PCUN's goals are to provide a collective voice for the myriad subdisciplines of psychology at the United Nations, to educate member nations and U.N. staff regarding psychological approaches and best practices, and to promote a concern for well-being and happiness. We encourage all PCUN members to support SPN and to take advantage of the incredible array of resources that it provides.
