The Department of Psychology at Wesleyan University invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professorship in social psychology. The specific area of research is open, although special consideration will be given to candidates with interests related to social justice, gender, race, violence prevention, health, and/or sustainable living. The candidate will be expected to incorporate undergraduates in their research program, and teach introductory social psychology, a department service course (e.g., introductory psychology, statistics, or research methods), a small seminar for first-year students, and specialized courses in an area of expertise.
