| Research Coordinator/Data Analyst | | | | | | | Job Description The Research Coordinator/Data Analyst will collaborate with the PI and study team members on study development and protocols; maintain the study database and study documentation; conduct data quality assessment and statistical analyses; and have the opportunity to contribute to study research papers. Analyze data for grant-funded research projects, prepare grant reports, and design research studies. Individual will undertake preparation of data for analysis and basic statistical analysis contribute to questionnaire development and implementation for a set of social scientific research projects, contribute to the development of IRB protocols, and assist in drafting reports to funders. Qualifications Applicants must have a master’s degree in statistics or a social and behavioral science (e.g., psychology, economics, and communication) plus 1 to 2 years of work or research experience in a university setting. Excellent command of R and basic command of Python are required (prior experience with Linux systems and shell scripting is a plus), as is the ability to work with a team and translate research questions into statistical analyses. Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects, developing solutions to basic technical problems.
