Required Degree: A PhD in psychology or a related field by the appointment date.

Experience: The Department of Psychology, Brigham Young University, invites applicants of any academic rank to fill a full-time (continuing faculty status) professional-track (teaching) position in the Department of Psychology to begin Fall Semester 2022. Applicants with expertise in social psychology, healthy psychology, developmental psychology, or cognitive neuroscience are encouraged to apply. The teaching load is four courses fall semester, four courses winter semester, and two courses either spring or summer terms. We are particularly interested in candidates prepared to teach undergraduate courses in introductory psychology, social psychology, psychology of gender, and multicultural psychology. Our department values diversity, student mentoring, a collegial culture, and excellence in undergraduate instruction. All qualified candidates, including women, people of color, and people with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.

Duties/Expectations: Successful candidates will show commitment to and excellence in teaching and mentoring, have the ability to teach upper- and lower-level undergraduate classes and graduate classes, and engage in citizenship responsibilities in the department, college, and university.
