Position overview
We are seeking to appoint a postdoctoral research fellow for two years to work within the Research School of Psychology at the Australian National University (ANU) with Chief Investigator Professor Kate Reynolds as part of a new ANU funded Grand challenges project on “Social cohesion, diversity and inclusion”.

The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow will join an outstanding social psychology research group at ANU and a dynamic team of other social cohesion grand challenge fellows and academics across the ANU (law, business, demography). In this project, research activities will address social cohesion from a social identity and intergroup relations perspective (e.g., intergroup co-operation, social change, social influence, social norms, prejudice reduction/contact, social engagement).

The role presents a unique opportunity to work with at the interface between social psychology and policy domains in the area of social cohesion. The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow will support the research team in data analysis, publishing original and innovative results in refereed journals and policy-related reports, and presentations. 

The successful candidate will have a PhD in social psychology or related area and will have evidence of experience that is relevant to social cohesion preferably from a social identity and intergroup relations perspective.
