Job Description: Seeking a full-time Project Coordinator/Research Associate to oversee all aspects of a large prospective study of veteran reintegration to civilian life as they transition from the military, and to contribute to research activities related to other ongoing studies focused on the post-deployment mental health and adjustment of military and veteran populations. Additional topics of study include: (1) deployment stressors and their health effects (2) gender differences in stress and health relationships in veteran and military populations; and (3) mental health stigma and its impact on mental health treatment-seeking.

The Project Coordinator/Research Associate will be in charge of day-to-day aspects of the primary project. With supervision from the Principal Investigator, this individual will be responsible for working with a large team to implement the study, assisting with the development of a new measure of quality of life, management of the IRB protocol, data management and analysis, and preparation of research findings in the form of manuscripts and conference presentations. This individual will also assist in the training and guidance of junior research assistants and contribute to grant application preparation.

Requirements: Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, experimental psychology (preferably, with a background in social or health psychology), or public health; strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Salary is highly competitive and benefits are available.

Time Commitment: One year, with possibility of an extension.

Anticipated Start Date: September, 2016 or earlier.
