The Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a position in public policy with a focus on environmental politics and policy starting in August 2016. Rank is tenure track assistant professor. Applicant qualifications include: a research agenda in environmental politics and/or policy; an active research program with strong potential for producing high impact publications and attracting external grant funding; sound skills in research methodology, demonstrated interest in participating in a multidisciplinary initiative on climate change, the ability to teach classes in public policy and environmental politics at the undergraduate and graduate levels; and a Ph.D. completed by August 2016 in political science or a related field. Salary, start-up package, and fringe benefits are competitive. Standard teaching load is four courses per year.
