The Department of Psychology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Social Psychology at the rank of assistant professor, effective July 1, 2015. Specific area of research within the domain of social psychology is open, but preference will be given to candidates with a research program that is relevant to culture and/or cultural diversity.

The successful applicant will develop a productive research program that regularly yields publications in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, supervise honours and graduate students, participate in departmental and university service, and engage with the community.

Applicants are expected to have a completed PhD in Social Psychology (or a related field) at the time of appointment. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated research record appropriate to a research-oriented doctoral program and a strong commitment to teaching and research supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.

Applications should be sent as a single .pdf document and must include a current curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests and teaching philosophy, statement of citizenship/immigration status and no more than three samples of scholarly work.
