The Center for the Connected Consumer at the George Washington University School of Business invites applications for one position as Postdoctoral Scientist in Marketing.

The postdoctoral scientist will work with professors Donna Hoffman and Tom Novak on NSF-funded research addressing the impact of social media on consumer behavior and well-being.

The postdoc will also have the opportunity to develop new, related research projects examining consumer behavior in the emerging environment of the Internet of Things.

This position begins on or around September 1, 2014 and is a one-year limited term appointment. The possibility may exist to extend this position at the department’s discretion dependent on funding. The start date is flexible.

Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. prior to the start date. Interested candidates should submit a CV, up to two working papers or publications, a one-page research interest statement and three letters of recommendation. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. All materials must be submitted electronically.
