Postdoctoral position specializing in Attitudes and Social Cognition, University of California, Davis
Jeff Sherman in the Department of Psychology at University of California, Davis seeks applications for a 2-year Postdoctoral Scientist position beginning September, 2014.
Candidates must have earned a PhD in a relevant discipline by the time of appointment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the domains of attitudes and social cognition, broadly defined. The primary responsibilities of the position include designing, conducting, analyzing, and disseminating innovative and collaborative research in the domains of attitude formation/change and stereotyping/prejudice, again broadly defined. The specific nature of the research has not been pre-determined.
This position is funded by the Anneliese Maier Research Award given by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the German Federal Ministry of Education. Salary is approximately $40,000/year plus benefits.
