Kantar Health is a global, healthcare consulting company headquartered in New York City, with offices in over 40 countries. Kantar Health is currently looking for a qualified Master’s or PhD program graduate student or post-doc to lead health survey research projects and provide research consultation to internal and external clients.

Role summary
 Lead the design and execution of health outcomes studies with clients, including writing research proposals, designing questionnaires, developing statistical analysis plan (SAP), analyzing data, writing study reports, and authoring scientific posters and manuscripts
 Work closely and collaboratively with other internal departments and functions including Client Consulting teams and Operations to provide research guidance and support for relevant consulting engagements
 Attend and present at professional conferences
 Be available for a limited amount of travel in support of all of the above responsibilities (~10%)

Minimum requirements

All of the following:

 Education:
o Minimum a MPH, MS, or MA (PhD strongly preferred) - any advanced degree in economics, psychology, outcomes research, public health, or a related discipline

 Experiences:
o Must have independent survey research experience and a publication history (peer-reviewed manuscripts strongly preferred)
o Health-related research experience or experience in a consulting capacity is highly desirable

 Competencies:
o Advanced ability to analyze data using SAS, SPSS, Stata, and/or R
o Strong quantitative background including knowledge of multivariate modeling techniques
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Superior ability to describe complex scientific data and results to a non-technical audience
o Strong interest in learning new methodological approaches and new statistical analyses/programs
o Ability to work well in a collaborative research environment, as well as the ability to work independently with limited supervision
o Ability to multitask several projects in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
o Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word
o Familiarity with SQL is desirable but not required
