The New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College the New School for Liberal Arts seek applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychology to begin fall 2014.

Candidates with an interest in Emotion, Action & Cognition, Decision Making, or Conflict Resolution are specifically encouraged to apply. The successful candidate might approach these areas from one or more perspectives – e.g., cognitive, social, developmental, or neuroscience – but should have an original, active program of research with potential to attract external funding. The teaching load is four courses per year and includes both graduate and undergraduate teaching.

Applicants must have a PhD as of August 31, 2014.

The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The start date for the position is July 2014. We seek candidates with promise of excellence in research and in teaching.
