The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NJ, (http://psych.rutgers.edu) seeks to hire a tenure track Assistant Professor in SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY, with a start date of September 2014 (contingent upon funding). We seek a candidate who has a strong research program with the potential to attract extramural funding and who will teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses. Applicants with a Ph.D. in any area of social or personality psychology are encouraged to apply. Our department has a vibrant faculty and excellent resources. The successful candidate could benefit from links to: the Center for Race and Ethnicity; the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research; Genetics; the Institute for Food, Nutrition, and Health, the Center of Alcohol Studies; the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
