A full-time postdoctoral research position funded by the ESRC is available at the University of Cambridge Department of Psychology, UK. The successful applicant will join the Prosociality and Well-being Lab headed by Dr Alex Kogan and will be involved in a project aiming to study the link between the oxytocin system and well-being.
The main responsibilities for the position include: 1) leading the development and execution of studies on the oxytocin system (genetic and epigenetic markers, and pharmacological challenge designs), 2) conduct analyses and write publications based on these studies and other data available in the lab, 3) mentor graduate students in the lab who work on the project. The successful applicant should have (or be about to obtain) a doctorate in Psychology, Biology, Biostatistics, or Genetics, and is expected to disseminate their findings in quality peer-reviewed academic journals. Publishing experience will be an advantage.
