Assistant Professor in Social Psychology. The Department of Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in social psychology. Applications from candidates in any area of social psychology are welcome, including, but not limited to, social health, social evolutionary, social cognition, or social personality. The start date for the position is September 11, 2019.

We seek candidates with proven teaching ability who could offer courses in Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, and Research Methods at both the undergraduate and graduate level, along with such undergraduate courses as Advanced Seminar in Social Psychology, Experimental Social Psychology, and Health Psychology. In addition, the successful candidate would have the opportunity to propose courses not currently offered. Candidates must exhibit research potential as evidenced by engaging in publishable research in their area of expertise, and possess the capability to attract and mentor students in their research area. Potential for securing external funding is also a consideration. A Ph.D. in social psychology is expected at the time of appointment.
