Participation Request - Interesting Online Study
Posted by MarcusL
February 6, 2013, 3:26 pm

Dear All,

My name is Marcus and I am presently a Postgraduate Student at the University of Bath. I am actively pursuing research in the field of cognition and schizotypy.

The research I am engaged with at the moment comprises of investigating how specific schizotypal traits and features influence cognitive processes and mechanisms e.g. reasoning styles, working memory capacity, inhibition etc. My ultimate goal is to be able to develop a comprehensive cognitive profile of individuals who exhibit schizotypy and schizotypal ‘like’ characteristics, in order to better understand what specific traits have a positive or detrimental effect on explicit cognitive abilities and processes.

My study takes approximately 18-20 minutes and simply involves completing two questionnaires and two short reasoning tasks online. All data are anonymous and confidentiality is adhered to in the strictest sense. All questionnaires and tasks are multiple choice answers and a lot of people have found the tasks and questionnaires interesting and enjoyable to complete.

If you are interested in participating in the study, please click the link below and simply follow the on screen instructions. Anyone can participate in this research, so feel free to encourage other individuals to participate.

Thank you very much, your support is gratefully appreciated and you will be contributing to future clinical screening tools in the field of schizotypy.
