51 and applying for Masters in Counseling (Ed)
Posted by 51 and applying to M.Ed in Counseling

Is this realistic?? I see how competitive these programs are to get into, and being so many years out of college, my GREs are just average. I have a passion for this field and know what I want to do (geriatric and mid-life counseling) but am a bit overwhelmed that getting this degree is realistic.

Should I just stick to volunteering in nursing homes?

I want to LEARN MORE!! AND, get 'credit' for it!!!

Advice??? (I am a 'young' 51!)
