Help Finding Studies on Children's Friendships
Posted by Marie

Hi,

I am trying to find studies and information regarding the strength of friendship bonds at various ages -- in particular, age 6 compared to age 10.

It is my feeling that friendship bonds will be much stronger at 10 years of age, but I am looking for studies to prove/disprove this. (I wish to argue that relocating my daughter at 6 years old will be less traumatic for her than a relocation at 10 years of age.)

If someone could point me in the direction of any studies, that would be a great help.

Thank you.
