 The Psychotic Society

I am writing a book called, The Psychotic Society. I am creating a blog and want to write a shorter ebook version, but first I would like to know if there is any interest in the topic. The book is about why so many Americans suffer different types of psychosis (e.g., anxiety, mood swings, depression from mild cases to severe). My thesis is that what causes these maladies is the social values of the culture. Specifically, I refer to the confusing nexus between the American religious belief system (e.g., the puritan ethic and the greed driven American culture). For example, the American Dream is a delusional notion, yet millions of American pursue it daily -- why?
