Re: Am I Too Old to Train in Psychology at 42?

I am a true supporter of the lifelong learning philosophy. I believe that when you are at the point where you are no longer engaged in learning -in some form- you are subject to digression and diminished mental capabilities.

I began my educational journey at age 30. I earned an associates, bachelors, masters, and now I am pursuing a PhD at the age of 41. I am two years into my PhD with 2.5 more to complete. I feel more wise and conscientious but not too old in the least. I commend everyone who has commented on this thread for courage, perseverance, and tenacity.

The pursuit of my education was the one goal I never vacillated on or deviated from and that speaks volumes.
