Re: Am I Too Old to Train in Psychology at 42?

All of you are so inspiring. I've always been amazed by the power of encouragement.

I'm 36 and have been working in the corporate world for 13 years. I have a 2 year old, husband, and thoughts of baby #2. The nagging voice in my head to get out of my job (that is unfulfilling) and pursue my inner calling (social psych) won't shut up. I've been frozen wondering how in the world I could do this, being the bread-winner with 2 kids?

It seems you just find a way. Period.

Question for those of you with M.S. or Ph.D. degrees: I received a B.A. in psychology from UCSB in 1998 but my GPA was not that good (2.6; I was a college athlete). I am concerned no school will accept me. Any recommendations?
