Qualitative Research International Summer School, University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK - 28 July – 1 August 2014

Lead tutors: Virginia Braun (University of Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand) & Victoria Clarke (UWE), authors of Successful Qualitative Research and Using Thematic Analysis in Psychology, and Nikki Hayfield (UWE).

Opening and closing keynotes by Professor Brendan Gough and Professor Lucy Yardley.

Expert tutors from UWE and other UK universities.

Workshops on qualitative research ‘from start to finish’: theoretical foundations, design, methods of data collection and analysis – interviews, focus groups, TA, IPA, DA, CA, GT, CAQDAS, action and narrative research – quality, communicating findings.

Early Bird Fees**

Full week (Monday – Friday) £600; £500* (QMiP members)

Two day ‘master class’ (Thematic Analysis***/Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis) £250; £225* (QMiP members)

One day workshop £150; £125* (QMiP members)

**The fees include tuition, lunch and refreshments (accommodation and other meals are booked separatelythrough the online store). The early bird fees end 31 May.

*Limited places available at these reduced fees. QMiP is the Qualitative Methods in Psychology Section of the British Psychological Society.

***Please note that bookings for the Thematic Analysis master class are currently only open to people booking for the full week.
