 New Submission Guidelines for JPSP-ASC

Dear Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce new submission guidelines for JPSP-ASC. The goal of the guidelines is to achieve rigorous social psychological research that is both innovative and cumulative. Authors must explicitly discuss both power issues and broader theoretical contexts. We also welcome shorter papers with innovative methodologies under the new category of “innovations in social psychology.” The new scope statement and the inaugural editorial that accompanies it are now available online at:

http://www.apa.org/pubs/journals/psp/

The submission guidelines specified in these documents will be in effect on March 1, 2017. On behalf of the new editorial team, I look forward to receiving excellent papers.

Best regards,

Shinobu Kitayama
