The Department of Psychology at Colgate University invites applications for a one-year replacement position in social, personality, or clinical psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor beginning fall semester 2013. Completion of Ph.D. is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. Colgate is a highly-selective liberal arts university of 2800 students situated in central New York. The appointee will join a psychology and neuroscience faculty deeply committed to a strong, research-oriented program. The teaching load is equivalent to five courses per year. Teaching responsibilities are likely to include staff-taught courses (e.g., Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, or Advanced Statistics); Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, or Psychopathology; upper-level courses in the candidate's specialty area; and supervision of senior thesis work. Review of applications will begin March 1, 2013, and continue until the position is filled. A cover letter, curriculum vitae, preprints/reprints, statements of teaching and research interests, and three letters of recommendation must be submitted through:
