SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGIST

The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for a tenure-track position in social-personality psychology to begin in July 2007. The position is at the assistant professor level. Areas of research are open, although we are especially interested in candidates whose work focuses on basic social psychological processes and complements other emphases within the program (e.g., attitudes and stereotyping; emotion; group processes; judgment and decision making; relationships; and/or self and identity). Candidates must have a Ph. D; strong research program; provide evidence of research productivity and excellence in teaching; and show promise for attracting extramural funding. Interested applicants should submit a curriculum vita, statement of research interests, representative reprints and/or preprints, and at least three letters of recommendation.
