The successful candidate will demonstrate research excellence and innovative teaching across a broad range of upper-division psychology courses, including introductory statistics, and will have interdisciplinary experience in research, teaching, and/or service. Located 18 miles north of UW, Seattle, the Bothell campus is beginning its tenth year. The innovative IAS Program provides access to excellence for traditional college-age and established adult students. This position supports Society, Ethics and Human Behavior, one of 5 BA degree options offered by IAS. The option provides scientific and philosophical foundations for the helping professions, informed citizenship and social action, and developing social policy. The successful candidate will join our efforts to develop an MA in public policy and expand student opportunities for experiential learning. The teaching load is 2 courses per quarter and can include courses in other options and core offerings. We are searching for an exceptional teacher and scholar who is committed to quality interactions with colleagues, students, and staff and who will play a leadership role in building our young, evolving institution. The Rank for this tenured or tenure track position will be at the associate or full professor level. Salary will be commensurate with rank and qualifications.
