Judgment and Decision Making:

The Department of Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University seeks to fill at least one tenure-track position (ranks open) in behavioral decision research, broadly defined. The department is interdisciplinary, including economists, political scientists and psychologists. It has particular research strengths in judgment and decision making, social psychology, behavioral economics, experimental economics, political science, public policy, and technological change. We prefer candidates with a strong empirical track record and research interests related to one or more of the domains above. We are open to a range of disciplinary concentrations within behavioral decision research, including psychology, economics, and neuroscience. Joint appointments may be possible with other units on campus.
