Faculty Positions in Clinical Psychology and Statistics/Quantitative Methods

THE PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Clinical Psychology and Statistics/Quantitative Methods to begin August, 2005. All positions are pending budgetary approval. For the Clinical position, applicants must have completed their Ph.D. as well as an APA-accredited internship. Licensure or license-eligibility is desirable. Applicants with research interests in all areas of clinical psychology are welcome. The department has an APA-accredited clinical program with an in-house training clinic. The department maintains close ties with the University of Illinois Medical center, the UIC Health Research and Policy Centers, the School of Public Health, the College of Medicine, the College of Education, the Institute for Juvenile Research, the Institute on Disability and Human Development, and the Hines Hospital VA Medical Center. For the Statistics/Quantitative Methods position, applicants’ research interests must align with one or more of the department’s five divisions (Behavioral Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Community & Prevention Research, Social and Personality Psychology). Applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics, methods, and measurement as well as courses in their own area of interest. Qualified candidates may apply for the Clinical positions and the Statistics/Quantitative Methods position. For all positions, appointments are expected to be at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must have demonstrated potential to develop a productive research program, and show promise for grant-supported research.
