The Department of Psychology at Ohio University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Quantitative Psychology at the assistant-professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active, high-quality, fundable research program that includes the application of quantitative methods to substantive problems in psychology. Candidates will also be expected to participate in the department’s training program in quantitative methods. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to one of the department’s major research foci (social judgment and behavioral decision making, intervention design and outcome evaluation, and health psychology), which currently include faculty in the areas of social, cognitive, organizational, and health psychology. Responsibilities will include supervising doctoral students and teaching graduate courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and undergraduate courses in behavioral statistics. Candidates for this position should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of recent publications, a statement of research interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and three letters of recommendation to Quantitative Psychology Search Committee, Department of Psychology, Ohio University, Athens, Ohio 45701-2979.
