The Psychology Department of Syracuse University invites applications for a one year appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor to commence August 2004. The position is in Social Psychology. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching undergraduate courses in areas cognate to social psychology (broadly defined) and a commitment to involving undergraduate and graduate students in an active research program. Successful candidates must demonstrate outstanding teaching skills in both large lecture and small laboratory formats, and enthusiasm for teaching. Syracuse University is a student-centered research university that promotes active learning in and outside the classroom and engaging undergraduate students in faculty research.
