Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology

Department of Psychology

School of Education and Psychology

Successful candidate will teach a broad range of psychology courses. Requirements include a terminal degree and evidence of the ability to teach a broad range of psychology courses. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, research and the desire to be actively involved in campus/university activities is essential to this position. All specialty areas in psychology will be considered. Position begins Fall 2004.

Elizabeth City State University, founded in 1891, is a public, comprehensive, regional university. One of the sixteen constituent institutions of The University of North Carolina, ECSU offers 34 baccalaureate degree programs in disciplines ranging from the traditional arts and sciences to teacher education and business administration, and master's programs in elementary education and biology. A weekend/evening program complements the regular academic program. ECSU has a diverse student body of 2,308 students, and 138 faculty.
