The Department of Psychological Sciences at the UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI (http://www.missouri.edu/~psywww) invites applications for two full-time, two-year renewable visiting assistant professor positions in the areas of LEARNING AND COGNITION and SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY, to begin in August 2003. Teaching responsibilities (3-4 courses per semester) include area content courses, research methods courses, statistics courses, and specialty courses in the visitor’s area of interest. Applicants should have their Ph.D. or complete it by August 2003. The Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri has 35 full-time regular faculty members, offers the Ph.D. in cognition and neuroscience, clinical, developmental, quantitative, and social psychology, and has a large number of undergraduate majors. Interested persons should send a brief cover letter, a curriculum vitae, summary evidence of teaching effectiveness, and three letters of reference to the Visiting Assistant Professor Search Committee, Department of Psychological Sciences, University of Missouri, 210 McAlester Hall, Columbia, MO 65211.
