Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Eastern Washington University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with specialization in social psychology (PhD or ABD) beginning in Fall, 2003. Performance expectations include a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses appropriate to the candidate’s area of expertise and suiting the needs of the department. The ideal candidate will build a research program with ongoing scholarship that actively supports student researchers.

Just minutes from Spokane, WA, Eastern Washington University is located in a beautiful geographic region ideal for outdoor recreation. EWU is the fastest growing public university in the state and is deeply committed to its mission of supporting a student centered, richly diverse campus community. The psychology major consistently attracts and graduates a large number of undergraduate and graduate students each year and department faculty frequently mentor Honors and McNair Scholars.
