Director, Institute for Social and Behavioral Research, Iowa State University: The Vice Provost for Research and Advanced Studies--together with the Colleges of Agriculture, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Family and Consumer Sciences--invite applications and nominations for the position of the Director of the Institute for Social and Behavioral Research (ISBR). The Institute fosters research in a broad array of social and behavioral issues, particularly topics related to family and health. ISBR has a strong national reputation for basic research, the translation of that research into preventive interventions, outcome evaluation, and research on the diffusion of empirically-supported prevention programs. We are seeking an individual to provide strong intellectual and administrative leadership for the ISBR in research, teaching, and outreach. The Institute includes over 40 faculty and professional staff members, plus nearly 200 full and part-time employees.
