Candidates must show promise of a strong program of research. Candidates above the beginning Assistant level must have a successful record of publication and extramural research funding. Responsibilities include: Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses including Social Psychology, pursuing an active research agenda that results in peer-reviewed publications and extramural funding, supervising student research, and providing service to the university community and the profession. Clemson University is a public, land grant university located on Lake Hartwell in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The department’s resources include a high fidelity driving simulator and a usability lab (see http://www.clemson.edu/psych). Review of applications will begin Sept. 1, 2002 and continue until the position is filled. Applications from minorities and those with applied interests are especially welcome.
