Job Title: Psychology - Visiting Professorial Faculty (3 openings)

Desired start date: Fall 2018

Required Degree:
All positions require a PhD in psychology, or a related field, by the appointment date.  All areas of specialization will be considered with successful candidates showing commitment to and demonstrating excellence in undergraduate and graduate instruction.

Experience: 
The Department of Psychology, Brigham Young University, invites applications for professors of any academic rank to fill full-time (visiting) positions in the Psychology Department to begin August 2018.  
 
The selected candidates will show commitment to and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate instruction.  This position is to teach courses offered by the Psychology department and may include classes in writing, statistics, research, introductory psychology, testing and introduction to the major.  The course load will be up to three classes each semester during fall and winter and two classes in either spring or summer terms (3:3:2).  Although not required, we encourage applicants to have strong research skills and an active research program with an established record for or strong promise of peer-reviewed publication and scholarly productivity.
 
This position is for one year and may be renewable up to three years.  Relocation assistance of up to $2,500 is available for out-of-state candidates.

We seek applicants in (1) Applied Social Psychology, (2) Cognitive Psychology, (3) Behavioral Neuroscience and Developmental Neuroscience, (4) Developmental Psychology and (5) Clinical Psychology.
