Dr. Jeremy Ginges, Associate Professor of Psychology at The New School for Social Research (https://www.newschool.edu/nssr/) and Senior Fellow at ARTIS Research (http://www.artisinternational.org/), is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This is a one- to three-year postdoc broken into one year segments, with opportunity for renewal assuming excellent performance.

The postdoc will work closely with Dr. Ginges on a on a cross-cultural project investigating the relationship between religious cognition and intergroup relations. Experiments will investigate the way religious beliefs and practices influence intergroup relations in three different contexts (Israel/West Bank, the U.S., and Fiji). The postdoc will be part of an interdisciplinary team and will have the opportunity to play a key role in theory and project development, and to develop independent lines of research within the scope of the project.

We seek a postdoctoral researcher with a strong interest in intergroup relations, religion, or both. The successful applicant should hold a doctoral degree in psychology or related fields and will have a solid background in experimental design, field experiments, statistics. Experience with programming languages is an advantage.
