The Department of Psychology at the New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College seek applicants for a postdoctoral fellow, to begin July 1, 2016. The duration of the position is one year. We seek candidates with promise of excellence in research and in teaching. The position requires teaching two courses per year. An allocation of courses at either the graduate or undergraduate level will be determined in consultation with the department chair.

The candidate expertise may focus on any non-clinical area of psychology (social, cognitive, perception, developmental, cultural) and courses would be taught in the main area of expertise of the candidate. It is possible that the candidate may be required to teach a Research Methods course at either the undergraduate or graduate level.

The successful applicant will be free to pursue his or her research agenda, but also encouraged to partake in the various research laboratories.
