Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Organizational Behavior—Tenure Track

Job Summary:
The School of Management at the University of San Francisco invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position (open rank) starting in Fall 2015 (or sooner) in management or a management related field (such as organizational behavior, organizational psychology, organizational theory, or organizational development).

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be assigned to the Department of Organization, Leadership and Communication and will have the opportunity to teach and develop courses closely related to her/his research. Preference will given to applicants with research and teaching expertise that reflects a global competency as well as a focus on (1) leadership and teams; or (2) decision making. Individuals with a research focus in an emerging, leading edge topic area of management are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should have successful experience teaching organizational behavior and related courses as well as relevant professional experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
A successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications: (1) an earned research doctorate (Ph.D.) from an accredited institution in management or a management related field by the time of appointment; (2) an established or emerging active research program and pipeline with a career trajectory in a relevant topic area; and (3) an expectation of, or clear record of, excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate will be expected to conduct and undertake scholarly research in a collaborative and supportive environment that welcomes interdisciplinary and practice-oriented scholarship as well as discipline-based, theoretical work.
