PhD position in Social Psychology at Queen Mary, University of London

Candidates are invited to apply for a fully funded PhD position on the social factors involved in resilience, health and well-being.

The project can involve contributions from the fields of social psychology, health psychology and/or biological psychology. The PhD project will be supervised by Dr. Janelle Jones.

Requirements

For this position, a highly motivated, self-driven candidate is being sought. Relevant background in social, health and/or biological psychology is required. Interest and experience in psychophysics and/or psychoneuroendocrinology would be a definite asset.

Qualifications

Applications are invited from candidates with, or expecting to be awarded, at least an upper-second class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in Psychology (or a closely related field). Ideal candidates will have completed a Masters (at the level of Distinction or better) in Psychology (or in a closely related field) or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience (e.g., work as a research assistant).

All candidates should possess excellent knowledge of experimental research methods and data analysis. An emerging track record of conference presentations and publications are a definite asset.
