The Department of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in its Social Psychology Division, starting in Fall, 2014:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Social Psychology or a related discipline, an excellent record of research with a productive, federally-funded research program or evidence of the ability to establish one, a strong record of publishing in high impact peer-reviewed journals, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. Applicants who work on affect and cognition, especially those who focus on affective and motivational processes (e.g., emotion regulation, self-regulation) and use a multi-method approach, are encouraged to apply. The multi-method approach might include behavioral and physiological methods (e.g., cardiovascular, EEG, fMRI, or hormonal measures).

Applications should include a cover letter, statement of research interests and teaching interests, curriculum vitae, sample publications and three letters of recommendation.
