Social/Personality Psychologist. The Psychology Department in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, to begin August 2014. The successful candidate will have an established program of research, and will make a contribution to teaching and student success at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Those in any area of specialization within social/personality psychology are encouraged to apply and will be considered. We are particularly interested in candidates who incorporate psychophysiological, neuroscience, or related methods in their research. Salary is competitive, research conditions are excellent, and there are extensive opportunities for collaboration on campus and at universities in the Chicago metropolitan area. Final authorization of the position is subject to availability of state funding.
