The Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies seeks to enhance its roster of distinguished faculty through the addition of a colleague with a background in Experimental Social Psychology. Applicants for this tenure track Associate/Assistant Professor level position must have a PhD and will begin teaching in Fall 2013. Individuals with teaching experience who are using empirical approaches to study any area of Social Psychology will be considered.

Candidates will be expected to teach social psychology and research methods at undergraduate and graduate levels; develop upper-level courses in his/her area of expertise; establish an active research program; have a strong interest in initiating and guiding undergraduate student research; and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with faculty. This position will contribute to our undergraduate, masters, and doctoral departments.
