The Psychology and Applied Therapies division of Lesley College is seeking a permanent, half-time, 9-month Assistant/Associate faculty member. We are interested in candidates with an earned doctorate in psychology with a holistic and cross-cultural orientation. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. The successful candidate will teach two courses per semester and have the opportunity to develop the department’s offerings in holistic psychology with teaching focused in these areas, along with the ability to teach in other areas (e.g., abnormal psychology and research methods). In addition to teaching undergraduate students and conducting research, faculty members at Lesley College advise undergraduate students, participate in curriculum development, serve on appropriate college and university committees, and participate in recruitment and retention activities as appropriate to a half-time position.

Requirements:
An earned doctorate in psychology with emphases in holistic psychology and cross-cultural psychology. The candidate will have a record of successfully teaching psychology to undergraduate students. The successful candidate will have strong research skills and a desire to develop the division’s offerings in holistic psychology. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently as well as collaboratively in project development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A strong publication record is required.
