George Washington University seeks to fill a tenure-track position for an Assistant Professor of Applied Social Psychology, to begin in Fall, 2012. We are seeking applicants with an established research background in psychological aspects of health, with expertise in application of advanced statistical methods to these domains. Salary and startup funds are very competitive. GW has both a medical school and a school of public health and health services as well as rich ties to NIH and other health-related organizations in the area.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in social psychology or a closely related field by August 1, 2012, a commitment to research as evidenced by publications in scholarly journals, and a planned research program with the potential for future external funding. We are open with respect to particular area of health focus.
