The Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) group at KantarHealth is looking to hire a social science researcher in order to assist with the design, analysis, and dissemination of health survey studies.

Key Responsibilities

-- The incumbent will work closely and collaboratively with other internal departments and functions including Business Development Team and Operations Team, to provide research guidance and support for relevant projects.

-- Responsible for supporting the HEOR group in the development of innovative research studies and projects with customers

-- Co-lead the design and execution of research studies with customers, including questionnaire design, data analysis, report writing, and poster and manuscript development

-- Attend and present at professional conferences

-- The position may require a limited amount of travel (~5%)

Minimum requirements include all of the following:

Education:

o Minimum a MPH, MS, or MA (PhD preferred) - any advanced degree in the social sciences.

Experiences:

o Must have independent research experience and a publication history (peer-reviewed manuscripts preferred).

o Health-related research experience or experience in a consulting capacity is highly desirable.

Competencies:

o Advanced ability to analyze data through SAS, SPSS, or Stata statistical software packages and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word

o Strong quantitative background including knowledge of multivariate modeling techniques

o Excellent oral and written communication skills

o Ability to describe complex scientific data and results to a non-technical audience

o Ability to work well in a collaborative research environment, as well as the ability to work independently with limited supervision
