Quantitative Methods: Open rank. Candidates should have a record of scholarly productivity and a nationally competitive program of research appropriate to rank, and an interest and ability to contribute to undergraduate and doctoral programs. The specific area of quantitative focus is open, but candidates with interests in Bayesian methods, experimental design and analysis, regression, multivariate methods, multilevel and structural equation models, categorical and latent class models, and/or robust statistics are especially being sought. Primary and secondary affiliations with the Department’s doctoral programs in I/O, Social/Health, Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience, and Clinical and Clinical Neuropsychology, and/or with the Texas Institute for Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics, a university-wide research center, are encouraged. Interested candidates should send a cover letter describing teaching and research interests, CV, representative publications, evidence of excellence in teaching, and three letters of recommendation (senior applicants need only send a list of references) to Paras Mehta, Ph.D., Quantitative Search Committee Chair, Department of Psychology, University of Houston, Houston, TX 77204-5022 (paras.mehta@times.uh.edu, 713-743-8554).
