The Department of Psychology at the University of Toledo has been authorized to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2008-2009 academic year. Teaching assignments will primarily be at the undergraduate level, but graduate level courses may also be available. A visiting faculty member will teach some of the following courses: introductory psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, statistics, and research methods. The major focus of the position is on teaching and a record of high quality previous teaching experience is desirable. A record of research productivity is also desirable and research activities will be encouraged and supported. This appointment could extend to 3 years. We prefer that all requirements for the Ph.D. degree be completed by August 18, 2008.
