The Department of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is inviting applications for two faculty positions in the Social Psychology Division, starting in Fall 2008. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, an active research program, an excellent record of empirical research and academic scholarship, and the potential to attract extramural funding. Ideal candidates would be at the assistant or associate level, with expertise on such topics as intergroup conflict and conflict resolution, justice, political ideology and structural violence, prejudice reduction and social inclusion.
