We are seeking two 1-year faculty positions in the Department of
Psychology at Whitman College. Each position entails teaching 5 undergraduate courses over 2 semesters. We have a particular need for individuals who can teach some combination of the following courses: INTRODUCTORY PSYCHOLOGY, STATISTICS, PERSONALITY, SOCIAL, DEVELOPMENTAL (child/adolescent). Each position also entails supervising 4-6 senior theses throughout the year. Recent graduates or ABDs will be considered; prior teaching experience is essential.
Whitman gives an $800 stipend for travel to professional meetings, 7% of salary for moving costs, medical and dental insurance, and contributions to TIAA if previously enrolled.
